Hopefully new Twitter beer is more reliable than its namesake

Social networking nerds were all a twitter when a micro brew called Spring Tweet was announced earlier this week. The beer, of course is named after Twitter posts that have been killing your productivity and boring your friends across North America for the past three years. Up until recently anyway. Now it seems you’re more likely to see the Fail Whale page that appears when logging in because the social network is over-capacity.
And even though we probably have John Mayer and Ashton Kutcher to thank for all the system overloads, I still hope the beer works better than the service. It would suck if it got you drunk sometimes and other times not. But you still get a hangover either way. And when you wake up, it starts telling what it ate for breakfast and what kind of a day it’s having at work. It’s like, enough already beer, you were fun at first, but now you’re annoying me. Go make me a sandwich.
Personally, I would have brewed one called Fail Whale Pale Ale. It would be strong, effervescent and it would block your ass as soon as I had enough of you. Good beer.
